Wells Bombardier has real English Heritage

The Drink of England, Wells Bombardier has become the Official Beer of English Heritage 2008 in a major new sponsorship package which is a first for the organisation.
Chris Lewis, director of marketing at Wells and Young’s Brewing Company said: “Linking with English Heritage is a masterstroke for Wells Bombardier. Not only does it mean that we now have the opportunity to appeal to hundreds of thousands more people, but it means that Bombardier is now rooted in a prestigious organisation that is the epitome of Englishness.”
St George’s Day, which is a key date for Wells Bombardier, will be a high point for the partnership as the beer is sponsoring six of English Heritage's St George’s Day events around England. Wells Bombardier will be exposed to a key ale target market and be able to drive sales through this association.
Magdalen Fisher, the development director for English Heritage welcomes the partnership: “I am delighted that Wells Bombardier has become one of English Heritage's corporate partners. They share our passion about England's heritage - past and present - and as sponsors of our St George's Day events this year, they are helping us give everyone a great day out celebrating the very best of English history.”
