Originally launched to commemorate the granting to Charles Wells of the Queen's Award for Export Achievement, this superior quality 5.2% ale is now well established as one of the Top selling bottled ales, nationwide.Wells Bombardier is the only national bottled premium ale brand that comes in a full 1 pint (568ml) bottle, meaning better value and the satisfaction of pouring a pint that reaches to the top of the glass.
The subtle bitterness is derived from the English Challenger Hop and the colour and aroma stems from using Crystal Malt and Goldings Hops.
Wells Bombardier uses more malt per pint than other premium bitters. Our English Crystal malt is ground, rather than crushed, to give a richer, more rounded flavour and Wells Bombardier's characteristic deep copper colour.
